2024 International Workshop on Applied Modelling & Simulation
In order to promote international scientific and technological cooperation and better gather global high-end talents in artificial intelligence, the “International Shaoxing, Towards a Bright Future” 2024 International Workshop on Applied Modelling & Simulation was successfully held at the Zhejiang (Shaoxing) High Level Foreign Experts Innovation Center start on November 21.
The event focuses on cutting-edge technologies and practices in artificial intelligence imaging, application modeling and digital innovation. The event includes three major sections: Artificial Intelligence Innovation Event (AI 2024), International Symposium on Application Modeling and Simulation (WAMS 2024) and Advanced Computational Intelligence and Simulation Emerging Technologies Conference for Digital Operations (AIS Docet 2024).
Yu Ping, Chairman of Shaoxing Association for Science and Technology, stated in her speech that this event will provide a good platform for accelerating the transformation of Shaoxing’s “intelligent manufacturing” into “new innovation”, helping the digital economy to take off, and further promoting technological innovation and industrial upgrading in Shaoxing .
Yin Weiguo, Deputy Director of Golden Keqiao Science and Technology City, announced in his introduction speech that the Liophant successfully signed an agreement during the 9th Global Innovation and Entrepreneurship Contest, marks a new chapter in international talent collaboration in Keqiao District.
KIP have pioneered a new platform development model that emphasizes “international outreach for recruitment, assistance, and promotion,” accelerating the creation of an open, international hub for talent aggregation and innovation. To date, we have established partnerships with more than 20 overseas universities and research institutions, including the University of South Africa and the Italian National Research Council. Over 30 foreign-founded entrepreneurial enterprises and more than 40 international talents have settled here, along with 36 high-level talents recognized at the provincial level or above. Each year, we welcome over 500 visits from top-tier overseas talents, solidifying our reputation as a premier destination for attracting global expertise.
