
Pier Paolo Pompa
He served as a lifetime Senior Scientist (Professor-level) at the Italian Institute of Technology, Director of the Nanobiology and Nanodiagnostics Center, and a professor at the University of Genoa. He previously worked at the National Nanotechnology Laboratory (NNL) and the Lecce Institute of the Italian Institute of Technology. His research focuses on nanobiology and nanodiagnostic reagents, with over 180 papers published in top international journals and 25 patents granted. He has co-authored chapters in nine books, with an H-index of 49 and over 10,000 citations. He has led numerous Italian and international projects, fostering collaboration between academia and industry in nanoscience and nanobiology.
